How to analyse the CNC machining parts structure manufacturability
The structural technology of CNC machining parts processing refers to the requirements of parts design according to the characteristics of processing technology, that is to say, the structural design of parts will affect or decide the quality of processing. It can be analyzed from the feasibility, convenience and economy of processing.
(1) Analysis from the correct marking of the drawing size of parts
Because the CNC machining program is compiled on the basis of precise coordinate points, Therefore, the relationship between the geometric elements of each figure must be clear. The conditions of the various geometric elements must be sufficient, and there should be no additional dimensions that cause contradiction or closed dimensions that affect the arrangement of the process.
(2) Analysis under the condition of ensuring uniform benchmark
In precision CNC parts machining drawings, it is best to reference the size of the same benchmark or directly give the coordinate size, beacuse this marking method is not only easy to program, but also easy to coordinate between sizes, which brings convenience to maintain the consistency of design reference, process reference, test reference and programming origin.
(3) from the blank structure manufacturability
In order to meet the structural and technological requirements of the blank, first of all, the blank processing allowance should be sufficient and as even as possible. Secondly, we should consider the reliability and convenience of the blank positioning in the process of processing, and then we should consider the reliability and convenience of the blank positioning in the process of clamping, so as to process as many surfaces as possible in a process of installation. For the blank which is not easy to clamp, it can be considered to increase the clip allowance or auxiliary reference such as process boss and process lug on the blank.
(4) Analysis from the deformation of parts
For the deformation of precision parts during machining, appropriate heat treatment processes (such as quenching and tempering, annealing, etc.) can be used before machining, or conventional methods can be used. Such as rough and finish machining separation or symmetrical edge removal for processing to solve the problem.
Through the analysis of parts structure technology, the above four points are beneficial to achieve the required processing quality, to reduce the amount of processing labor, and to improve labor productivity.
